NYSC DG Urges Corps Members to Embrace Entrepreneurship
By Ahmad Sirajo Makama, Abuja
The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has encouraged members of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 to embrace entrepreneurship by utilising the skills acquired through the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Programme.
This advice was contained in a farewell message to the outgoing corps members, signed by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, to mark the completion of their one-year national service.
General Nafiu urged the corps members to leverage their SAED training to become successful entrepreneurs and job creators. He congratulated them on completing their service year and commended their dedication, diligence, and patriotism, noting that their contributions at their Places of Primary Assignment had a positive impact on communities and national development.
He further advised them to remain worthy ambassadors of the NYSC by upholding values such as discipline, unity, integrity, and selfless service in all their future endeavours.
The NYSC DG also called on the outgoing corps members to stay committed to Nigeria’s unity and progress, emphasising that building a better nation requires the collective effort of all citizens.
If you want, I can also shorten it further, adapt it for broadcast, or make it more headline-driven.
